Role
The WSABRB Financial Officer manages the annual assessments, conference fees, and reimbursements for the Association. The Financial Officer communicates revenues, expenditures, and financial health reporting to the WSABRB Executive Board and to the Association on an annual basis, at a minimum. The Financial Officer manages the Association bank account adhering to the WSABRB By-Laws and Rules of Policy. The Financial Officer works with the Executive Officer as needed.
Responsibilities

The Financial Officer communicates revenues, expenditures, and financial health reporting to the WSABRB Executive Board and to the Association on an annual basis, at a minimum. The Financial Officer manages the Association bank account adhering to the WSABRB By-Laws and Rules of Policy. The Financial Officer works with the Executive Officer as needed.
Responsibilities
- Manage Association Business Information in the WA State Corporation and Charities System. File the Annual Report every September or when required by the State of Washington. The Financial Officer is the Association's Registered Agent.
- Manage the Association bank account (currently Seattle Credit Union).
- Manage Association online invoicing and digital transactions (currently Stripe).
- Manage the Association mailbox. (currently USPS PO).
- Manage and respond to mail at the Association email box (wsabrborg.@gmail.com)
- Post all digital materials to cloud storage for Executive Board access (currently Box).
- Manage Annual Assessments. Each February, invoice and receive assessments from member counties.
- Manage Annual Conference revenue and expenses. Work with the Executive Officer (generally the Presidents County Clerk) as needed to communicate and receive Annual Conference registration fees and handle refunds and reimbursements as defined by the By-Laws Article VIII and the Rules of Policy.
- Write checks for refunds and reimbursements with the WSABRB President's approval (Rule of Policy: Payment of Refunds/Reimbursements).
- Manage the annual financial reporting as required by the By-Laws Article VIII. Add a line item for the next conference budget to the proposed budget.
- Deliver financial data, reports, and budget estimates as requested by the Executive Board.
