WASHINGTON STATE ASSOCIATION OF BOUNDARY REVIEW BOARDS
OVERVIEW
The Washington State Association of Boundary Review Boards (WSABRB) was created May 24, 1986 and incorporated as a Washington State Nonprofit Corporation on October 16, 1998.
There can be time gaps between when a Boundary Review Boards meets or holds a hearing. The Association was created to bridge these time gaps by providing state-wide information, education, and networking to the county BRB's.The Association leadership is made up of voluntary representatives from the County Boards and provides an ongoing organization and resource in support of the county Board operations.
The Association does not advocate any specific proposal. However, we feel it is our duty, as citizens and participants in this governmental process, to iterate some basic principles. We urge that any legislative proposal be evaluated against these simple principles.
Each year, a BRB County hosts the annual conference, which is a chance for all BRB Counties to meet and discuss operational issues and learn more about RCW 36.93.
Each BRB County supports the WSABRB through an annual assessment. Annual assessments help cover the cost of the annual conference and the yearly operations of the Association, including this website.
The WSABRB is guided by Bylaws and Rules of Policy.
