​Conference Committee

Role
The Conference Committee plans the agenda and arranges the annual meeting of the Association. Per the WSABRB By-Laws Article VI: "This committee is responsible for planning the agenda and arranging annual meetings of the Association. The committee shall be chaired by a member of the host boundary review board designated to host that year’s Annual Meeting. The committee is responsible for securing guest speakers and individuals with subject matter pertinent to the needs of the Boundary Review Boards and their members"

Responsibilities
  • Establish the location (or online) and dates of the next annual conference for the year.
  • Creates and manages the agenda and logistics of the conference.
  • If the conference is in-person, the committee establishes a meet and greet and an annual conference dinner.
  • The Committee works with the Treasurer who will collect conference fees, pay expenses, and reimburse agreed committee expenses.
  • (Recommended) After the conference, send attendance certificates to all attendees.
