Role
Per the WSABRB By-Laws Article VI: The Executive Board shall appoint a nominating committee for the purposes of preparing for elections. It shall consist of one member of each of three BRBs in good standing as appointed by the Association president. The committee shall meet or otherwise communicate as necessary to develop a list of nominees to be submitted for consideration at the forthcoming meeting. Nominations may also be made from the floor at the annual meeting.
Responsibilities

Responsibilities
- Confer with Association BRB Members throughout the year regarding the president-elect position.
- Nominate a president-elect at the annual conference business meeting.
- Per Rules of Policy: Selection of Nominees for Association President: In determining candidates to preside over the Association, it is the goal of the Association to seek geographic balance between eastern and western Washington in selecting available and qualified members to lead the organization.
