WASHINGTON STATE ASSOCIATION OF BOUNDARY REVIEW BOARDS
EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE MINUTES
September 17, 2020 at 12:00 p.m.
Members present: Mary Lynne Evans, Roberta Myers, Marcel Goulet and Financial Officer Jay Hamlin.
Staff: Executive Officer Jenna Amsbury, Legislative Liaison Lenora Blauman and briefly King County BRB Staff Angelica Velasquez.
1. Call to Order Ms. Myers, President, called the meeting to order at 12:00 p.m.
2. Roll Call Members present introduced themselves.
Added request:
A motion was made, seconded and passed to approve Angelica Velasquez to send something as condolences to Alison Sing from the association.
3. Executive Committee Meeting Minutes from Nov. 2019.
A motion was made, seconded and passed to approve the meeting minutes from November 2019.
Marcel Goulet noted he would check with Greta Holmstrom regarding any other meeting minutes.
4. Financial Report – Year End 2019/2020
Jay Hamlin, Financial Officer, provided the current balance of the Association Fund of $223.01. He stated the legislative analyst contract was discontinued in July since there was not enough funds to continue to pay for this service. Revenue and expenditures were detailed for the group. He presented the 2020-2021 budget for review. There could still be a little legislative costs, there will be website costs for maintenance and revenue includes the annual assessment. The conference revenue is unknown at this point due to covid travel restrictions.
A motion was made, seconded and passed to approve the budget as presented for 2020-2021.
5. Committee Reports
There was discussion on keeping the same Committee Chairs, as no one else stepped forward. Marcel Goulet will chair the nominating committee as the outgoing president. There was discussion on using the new website to do more outreach and communication. Marcel Goulet noted he would be interested in helping Jay Hamlin with this as well. The committee chairs are as follows:

Education Chair-Alison Sing
Nominations Chair-Marcel Goulet
Conference Chair-Robbie Myers
